February 11, 2007 "A Teaching On Joy"

"For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Is it not even you in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at His coming? For you are our glory and joy. [1 Thess 2:18-20; NKJV]; and "And you became followers of us and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Spirit..."
[1 Thess 1:6; NKJV]

[Something To Think About:]
This morning as I finished writing God’s morning letter He added the following to the end of the letter. It really had nothing to do with the verbal/written letter He had just given me. It was a teaching on Joy. He has been teaching me, and when my sister was still here on earth, about Joy for close to two years. The following two verses were given to me sometime ago when studying "Joy"; and Jesus reminded me of them this morning:

The Joy of the Lord is Your Strength:
Neh 8:10 "Then he said to them, "Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the LORD is your strength ." NKJV

For The Joy He Would Know Later He Endured The Cross:
Heb 12:2 "Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross , despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. " NKJV

After reminding me of these two scriptures He then had me re-read the February 10^th message from the book ‘God Calling’. Some weeks back I was instructed to re-read this book, after many years of setting it aside. I recommend it to anyone who would like to have an intimate relationship with God, and hear His voice. Don’t forget to read the introduction.

{Jesus said, speaking through His two anonymous listeners, women, in the book ‘God Calling’ on February 10 {in the book}:

"Think of My trees - stripped of their beauty, pruned, cut, disfigured, bare, but through the dark seemingly dead branches, flows silently, secretly, the spirit-life-sap, till, lo! With the sun of spring comes new life, leaves, bud, blossom, fruit, but oh! Fruit a thousand times better for the punning. Remember that you are in the hands of a Master-Gardener. He makes no mistakes about His pruning. Rejoice.

Joy is the Spirit’s reaching out to say it’s thanks to Me. It is the (1)new life-sap of the tree reaching out to Me to find such beautiful expressions later. So never cease to joy. Rejoice.

"Spirit-life-sap" {equals} Joy {equals} NEW LIFE SAP flowing. Or we might simply say:

Spirit Life = Joy = NEW LIFE!!

Jesus has said many times before He is love and life, and flows through the members in His Body. He has also said through Chris Williams, "There is going to be an increase in the Joy around the planet so that Miracles can be performed in greater magnitude" {repeated and slightly reworded by Christ on February 11, 2007.}
