"The Joy Of The Lord" (Vision)
(March 12, 1999)

[God asks me, "What do you see?]

I see every beautiful landscape I have ever seen. I see Winter with it's clear clean snow. It has crystal clear icicles and ice beads on top of both the snow and a small fence. I see green pine trees covered with snow.

Without warning, the pine trees change into huge old maple trees. They are sitting in a summer setting, in a beautiful grassy park area. Their leaves are gently falling to the ground; and the sun is filtered behind them. It is beautiful.

The leaves on the maple trees turn into fall leaves. Their colors are bright red, orange, green and yellow. They gently sing in the breeze as they fall. Oh Lord, what a beautiful sight.

Now I see a huge field with millions of wild flowers. They are purple, blue and yellow; and there are some very dainty white ones mixed in with all the bright colored ones. In the background there is a huge waterfall coming down a beautiful snow peaked mountain. It is absolutely gorgeous. I love being here, and seeing all this beauty. Nothing is dying; it is all so alive in it's color Amen.

[God says to me, "Live within this Joy. You have described My Joy. What you feel when you see these pictures is the Joy of the Lord, child. My Joy exceeds the happiness known by mankind, Chris.

Joy is an emotional stability that comes from spiritual (D)sensuality, child. The emotions (D)evoked in your spirit and soul when you picture these, My images in your mind and heart (when I show you My beauty), is the Joy of God in you. I show you these physical, mental images to cause you to connect with that which is alive within you.

My Joy and love are closely associated. They are wed, so to speak, Chris. Joy comes from the images of little birds singing from their small pounding hearts, praises to Me, their Creator. They do this daily. They were made in Heaven for this reason. They give Me Joy. My Creation gives Me Joy, and it should you also.

(V) Yes, I endured the cross for the Joy I would know later - IN YOU. Your Joy is a gift to Me, to My heart, child. I AM filled with Joy to see you filled with Joy, and beholding God's beauty, Chris. See Me as I AM, child; and be filled with not only My Joy, but also My peace and continuous Rest, child. Hold tight to these images and practice visualizing them daily. Feel inside the Joy associated with these images; and then begin to practice the depth of this Joy.]

(v) "Yes, I endured the cross for the Joy I would know later - IN YOU":
(Heb 12:2-8) "looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls. You have not yet resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin. And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons: 'My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him; For whom the Lord loves He chastens, and scourges every son whom He receives.' If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons. (NKJ)
